It’s finally here!

As mentioned at the AdTech Trends event last week, LA Ad Tech (with the image slide credit belonging to Vincent Montero) has created a comprehensive infographic listing all 65 ad tech companies located throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area.

We hope this infographic and compiled list will help you better navigate the ad tech landscape in LA, while displaying the ever-growing presence of advertising technology in the “City of Angels”.

Ad Tech Trends 2

We hope everyone enjoyed our evening of AdTech Trends in association with Digital LA. We’ve posted more of our pictures from the event on the LA ad tech Facebook page.

As mentioned from the stage at CTRL Collective, we’re compiling a list of the ad tech companies operating in LA (not just those based here) and we need your help. If there are companies you know of that we’ve overlooked in the list below, please add them to our Facebook discussion. We’ll create a logo slide of the final list and share it with the community next week.

Thanks for your help!

Celebrating Ad Tech in LA!

CgpAbK5U8AEtMz0-1Being that we are LA AdTech, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that we love any chance to recognize the thriving digital advertising community here in Los Angeles. So when we learned the new owners of the ad:tech conference decided to postpone its return to Los Angeles until 2017, we figured who better to fill the void than LA AdTech? So, along with our friends at Digital LA, we programmed an evening of content and networking on the topic for Monday, May 2 from 7-9 pm at CTRL Playa.

We’re expecting the best and brightest minds in ad tech to be in attendance, a few of whom will share our stage. OpenX co-founder and CRO Jason Fairchild and respected advertising journalist Tim Peterson will kick off the evening with a fireside chat about why programmatic is so important. Their discussion will be followed by a panel on the state of ad tech in LA and globally, featuring senior-level ad tech executives from SteelHouse, The Trade Desk, Convertro/AOL Platforms and VideoAmp. The content will conclude with a presentation by Eytan Elbaz, who will speak about lessons learned from founding several startups, including Applied Semantics which sold to Google in 2003 and became the foundation of its AdSense paid search product.

Be sure to use promo code LAADTECH for 50% off of the $20 cost of admission. We hope to see you there! Go to http://bit.ly/2016adtechtrends or scroll below to register.

We’d like to thank our host CTRL Collective, our partner Kevin Winston at Digital LA and our sponsor OpenX, who has generously underwritten all of the food and beverage for the evening. Complimentary parking will be available in the CTRL Collective lot after 6 pm.

Getting Underneath the Differences Between Adtech and Martech

Both marketing technology and advertising technology are evolving more rapidly than ever, creating new companies, categories and complexities throughout the digital marketing ecosystem.

The once high-flying adtech category has been pummeled in the public markets and overshadowed by a larger field of martech providers. Meanwhile, martech has found its way to the top of minds of B2B and B2C marketers, but what really are the major differences, how do they work together and why is knowing the distinctions so important for the next wave of growth of these multi-billion-dollar tech sectors? We’ll help you make sense of their interdependencies and relative value to building audiences and driving revenue during during our next LA AdTech meet-up.

Whether you’re a technologist, marketer, agency, publisher or entrepreneur, there will be something for you to learn (and hopefully to share) during this highly interactive and educational networking event.

In a salon format, our moderator and host, Tony Winders, will lead a discussion on the topic at WeWork Promenade onTuesday, March 22, 2016 from 6-8 pm. Bring your knowledge to share and eagerness to learn for this informative evening of networking and education around a topic dear to our hearts here at LA AdTech!
